You know, my dad was sharpening a pencil for one of the girls with his pocket knife the other day and they mentioned it looked "weird" when he was done. He said that's how he always sharpened his pencils in school. I said, "you had a pocket knife in school?" yes, he did. In high school if his pencil broke he would just get out his pocket knife and sharpen it right there in class. That just freaked me out.
