Fitness Friday

Updated... I am not floating away but in the last few hours since posting I have downed around 24 ounces. I know that isnt much compared to the massive amount of water I should have but hey it's a start and I will continue consuming as the evening wears on!

I have nothing to say...I have no spiritual thoughts, no good choices I've made, no apologies. Nothing.

I have nothing to report...

I did hear from another blogger Mrs. A. Who told me how much water we are supposed to drink a day! I am blown away! Your weight divided by 2. That is the amount of ounces we should drink a day! Water only! No other liquids count.

I have nothing to say. But here goes my water count! I will update you later to day on how much I have gulped down! And if I literally float away please, please someone help my dear hubbie take care of the kids! He will need help!

Off to drink.

Don't be discouraged. Your transparency is as valid a step on the way to where you want to go as that water you're gulping right now!

'Nothing to say' is perfectly perfect sometimes. It's the truth and I'm glad you stuck to it. We're all in different places (though I seems pretty close to yours!), but it's good to do Fitness Friday together.

Okay, that's a ton of water for me! It makes me have to pee just thinking about it!!

Hey, you posted. I haven't yet! Be encouraged, friend! You are way more motivated than me right now!!

And, how did you get the snow on your blog? It is so cute!!

I knew about the water thing. Your body is like a plant. You know how if you don't water it for awhile, it dries way out and then when you go to water it, all the water runs right out the bottom...well, umm yeah...you will be peeing for awhile because you are dehydrated. but eventually your body will balance out and you will find that drinking that much water is a walk in the park.

I have never floated away. keep drinking!!

I don't either AND I HOST FITNESS FRIDAY!!!!! ACK!

About the water...ha ha I just remembered this. My college roommate and I found out how much water we were supposed to be drinking so we got these containers from her mom, who was a nurse. The containers were marked off in CC's so we only had to fill them up once. Well...we were so tired we could barely make it to class the next day from spending ALL NIGHT getting up going to the bathroom.

But I hear that tapers off once your body adjusts to the new routine. :)

Um, that's WAY more water than a Big Gulp.

Anyone remember those?

Anyway, I have been where you are. Don't let it be the "new" routine to have no motivation.

You can do this! We are here for you, and talking honestly about how you're feeling is important and helpful. Don't be discouraged!

I'm actually doing a program right now that requires me to drink my weight in ounces. Not divided by 2. You have it EASY! :) The funny thing is, that while it's hard some days, I can now tell when I'm not getting as much as I should...I really feel good when I drink that much, and amazingly, after about a week, I didn't have too much of an issue with the peeing...my bladder adjusted. Good luck, and thanks for stopping by my blog!

baby steps, baby steps......
I suggest getting one of those cute SIGG bottles, keep it in your car, by your side, etc. and sip throughout the day ;)

My issue is coffee--drink way way too much :0

Good!

Water does so many positive things for your body and your overall sense of well being. Drinking proper amounts may be difficult at first, but your body will pay you for the blessing in so many ways!

Bottoms up, Carrie!
