Today Kaitlin baked brownies all by herself! This is a big deal, it was from a box (Thank you Duncan Hines) but we will keep working on basics and move into from scratch! She got out the supplies, mixed it, put it in the oven, timed it, removed it from the oven and cleaned up her mess! Wonderful, we are entering a new phase in our life...you know the one that has freshly made hot brownies all the time!

Alexandra loves to bake, too. She has just gotten where she will get most of the ingredients and do most of the work herself. She's home sick today, so maybe we'll bake something. Brownies sure look good!
