Bin Yahs....

Dave and I got to head out on the town for a date night yesterday!

We went and ate dinner and headed to get dessert at a little place on

Westheimer called Crescent City Beignets. 

They had a sign on their menu with the "correct annunciation".  Did I get it?

"Bin Yahs"

YUMMO.

I love the beignet place in Kemah, and I have dreams of the one in

New Orleans which I heard is the best!

 But fried little pastry and powder sugar sounds like a winning recipe to me anywhere!

They have the large ones of course, but they also have finger lings!  Which are NOT as messy!  We ordered 12 finger lings (6 cinnamon sugar ones and 6 powdered sugar ones).  It was only 3.50!

We sat down to enjoy our treat... did I already say YUMMO!  It didn't take long to have one of these!

It was a great night, and we so badly needed it!  We appreciate being able to

bum the kids off on relatives every now and then!  :)
