I gave the kids the day off of school-- which Emily looked forward to so much- giving her a day off goes REALLY far-- I need to remember that.
We started off with heart shaped biscuits from Chick-Fil-A... You just can't go wrong with Chick-Fil-A!
We usually do a new movie for the kids, but this year we gave Matt and Kate the last three City of Ember books and Emily the first Isabella book for American Girls.
The books were a hit-- they proceeded to all read for the next few hours!
We headed over to my grandmothers house for a Valentines party and had a great time! But the funniest was an impromptu tattoo party that ended with Amy on the ground and ALL the kids drawing on her!!
Our night took an odd twist when I ended up with Amy and Kirsten for the whole evening! We shopped with 5 kids in tow (I had MF too) and then ate at a Chinese food restaurant where Brett and Dave met us... It was a GREAT night!
